What has been your most exciting time in media so far in your career?
Glastonbury - the mud and the music; Live 8 Africa Calling, WOMAD in Sri Lanka. Interviewing Om Puri, meeting Jazz legends Bob James, Al Jarreau and Roy Ayres, spending a week with Ash Rai in Dornie village, Scotland, meeting and chatting with Asian music stalwarts Nitin Sawhney, Ilayaraja and AR Rahman in their Chennai homes and many more. Every day is a blessing!
If you could do any job in media, what would it be?
Working for the BBC Asian Network in the Music department.
If you didn't get into media what career would you have been in today?
Considering I have stepped into media from 9 years as an IT consultant, it’s hard to say really. I guess it would be creative, perhaps PR, marketing or a wedding planner!
Achievements
Working with companies like Oracle, Business Objects e.t.c. in IT.
Working for some of the top media publications like Songlines, Rave India, Hi Sri Lanka and of course Asian Woman.

Future Goals
I tend to live for today. 'Carpe diem' is my motto… One never knows what’s round the corner, but perhaps a sunny country to live in, surrounded by greenery and beaches, but being able to write poetry/articles and be around the amazing people I get to interact with.
Hobbies
Music and festivals, theatre, books (mainly in the Asian Diaspora),TV, Hollywood/Bollywood/Kollywood (Tamil) movies, Food & Cooking, Shopping.
