London’s Favourite Debate Show Back with a Brand New Bang

Bloggers’ D’light, London’s premier debate entertainment show returns with a hot new panel of guests to lead the latest edition of the much-talked about event. After the Bank Holiday partying, all roads lead to the event known for it’s ‘laugh out loud’ entertaining debates on Sunday, 31st August at the Central London music venue, 229 The Venue.

The event, which has gained popularity over the years, has previously played host to some the UK’s up-and-coming “blogerati” (think “paparazzi” for bloggers) and well-known personalities from both the media and entertainment industries including, Simone Bresi-Ando (I’mPOSSIBLE), Akosua Annobil-Dodoo (, Rachel Ritfeld (model and TV Personality) and Babatunde (comedian). The latest edition of Bloggers’ D’light will see a brand new panel featuring some of the UK’s leading talents and entrepreneurs including, Mr Play (Play Ents), Illy Sebah (Presenter) Akua Gyamfi (The British Blacklist), Elizabeth Pears (The Voice newspaper), veteran British rapper, Ty and funny man Dane Baptiste sharing their views and opinions on the chosen topical subject which will be revealed on the night.

“Bloggers’ D’light is very much an event that has been built to create a platform that encourages dialogue and debate, giving a voice to a great cross section of people with a wealth of knowledge, wit, personality, experience in their respective fields and a love of sharing what they have learnt in their lives. Creating Bloggers’ D’light has been a labour of love that has blossomed due to the great support that I have had from those that have contributed to making it the stand-out show that it has now become. I look forward to creating more magical, hilarious and thought provoking shows in the future” said Lorraine Russell aka Miss Lala, founder of Bloggers’ D’light.

Much of Bloggers’ D’light’s success to date can be attributed to the fact that it brings the community together, in real-time. In an age where short texts and virtual messaging has become synonymous with ‘normal’ everyday communication, the event prides itself on providing a platform where people can engage, participate and enjoy traditional banter and intellectual debates (as opposed to waiting for notifications on their android!). Sponsored by leading events agency, Fresh Strawberry, the crowd and panellists will be entertained with live performances from spoken word artist, Kemi Taiwo with Capital Xtra’s E Plus setting the scene playing the latest tunes.
