In addition, the newly founded organisation said the workshops and organisation have been designed for all women, including young women just entering the workforce, those from minority ethnic communities, as well as, the unemployed. And also, very much to support and learn from women already in leadership and senior management roles”.
The workshops are “to provide an inspirational, visionary and transforming experience for diverse women that will inform, entertain, educate and empower them on a path to personal and community growth,”
17 April – Nottingham
19 June – Birmingham
18 September – Manchester
16 October – London
The workshops, (will be covered by Cable TV, local and national media), are part of executive leadership event and coaching programme LEADERS OF DISTINCTION, a rolling 12-month coaching and development programme for outstanding women leaders.
“The 2008 mission is to facilitate the growth and change reflecting the increasing economic, political and social leadership of diverse women, working co-operatively to leverage their aspirations, capabilities and opportunities,” said A1A.
The Rt Hon Theresa May, Shadow Leader of the House of Commons and Shadow Minister for Women said “I welcome this initiative to encourage and support women leaders. I am sure these workshops will inspire a diverse range of women to develop their talents and take on leadership roles in business and the community.”
