Fourth annual Scottish Asian Wedding Show to take place this Sunday

-Miss Ireland to model Oxfam’s wedding apparel in glamorous Fashion Show-

With less than a week to go, excitement is mounting over the fourth annual Scottish Asian Wedding Show presented by Sculpta Cosmetic Clinic which will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow from noon until 7pm this coming Sunday (17th of April).

The popular exhibition offers brides and grooms to-be the chance to browse a huge range of wedding essentials conveniently all under the one roof (60 exhibitors). It really is a must go-to event for anyone preparing for their forthcoming nuptials!

Not only will guests be spoilt for choice with the array of wedding must-haves but will also have the opportunity to enjoy lively entertainment, two fashion shows (at 2pm & 6pm) and an awards ceremony rewarding the crème de la crème of the industry.

Caterers to venues and florists to photographers that make your big day that extra bit special will be recognized and praised for their talent and contribution to the wedding sector in the coveted awards ceremony at 3pm.

The jam packed all-day event will also include performances from UK Bhangra singer, H-Dhami who is set to wow visitors with his award winning act and funky infusion of British and Indian influences (at 4pm & 6:30pm) aswell as two glamorous fashion shows parading stunning occasion wear for those in the crowd with a keen eye for classy couture.

Sculpta Cosmetic Clinic will champion the entire occasion as the official Title Sponsor and Dr Ahmad, a specialist cosmetic doctor at the Clinic will be hosting the anticipated awards alongside Miss Ireland, Alesha Gallen. What’s more, the experienced doctor will be on hand to offer his expertise with a free consultation room providing visitors with the unique opportunity to speak to a professional about potential treatments.

This year, Oxfam – the leading charity for poverty stricken nations – will be the official charity partner and on the day, guests can expect unique ideas and advice from Oxfam representatives on alternative, ethical wedding planning. Beautiful Miss Ireland will even be parading the best of Oxfam’s occasion wear in the first of the two stylish fashion shows.

A raffle in aid to raise funds for the charity will also be included as part of the exhibition this year and one lucky bride to-be will even get the chance to win Sculpta Cosmetic Clinic’s exclusive Bridal Pamper Package.

Already getting in the wedding spirit and in the run up to the Show, Oxfam Clarkston suitably redressed their entire display window with a selection of beautiful wedding gowns on offer. The cut price, stunning attire even caught the eye of passers-by and three of the dresses were sold to forthcoming brides to-be.

A spokesperson for Oceanic Consulting said: “With something for everyone and so much happening all under the one roof, we expect a great turnout this year. The show takes the hassle out of wedding planning and makes it an enjoyable and valuable experience. It’s handy to have wedding attire, food samples, decorations and expert advice all in one place and unlike other wedding fairs, we vamp it up with entertainment, fashion parades and an awards ceremony!”

If you’d like to attend the exciting event, tickets are only £5 each inclusive of the fashion shows, exhibition and entertainment. For those early birds who want to get down before one o’clock, entry is completely free and Auntijis go free all day!
