Contacts Of Organisations That Support Victims And Witnesses Of Crime Required For Directory
For immediate release
Following the recent BTWSC VORP (Voice Of Responsible Parents) Victims And Witnesses Of Crime conference, organised by north-west London community organisation BTWSC and partners including national charity Victim Support at Brent Town Hall, VORP is now in the post-conference phase, and is asking organisations that provide support for victims or witnesses of crime to submit their details for the VORP directory.
In addition to the directory, another outcome of the conference, where Victim Support chief executive Javed Khan and Navin Shah Assembly Member for Brent & Harrow delivered presentations, is the publication of a free two-volume newsletter for UK service providers.
“The VORP directory will provide accessible information regarding who is doing what, or where to find information. Although there are many useful resources out there, they aren’t always easily accessible,” says BTWSC co-ordinator Ms Serwah.
“The directory will sign-post organisations working on a local or regional level, and organisations working at grassroots level or focused on African, Asian and ethnic minorities. If you support victims or witnesses of crime, please submit information today.”
You can access the link to submit your details from www.btwsc.com/VORP.
