At the age of 17 whilst at college, Tomasz has set up his own public relations agency, which shortly changed into field marketing agency and since the start been supplying promotional staffing and creating engagement with the members of the public through in-store promotions, product demonstration, road shows and experiential activities for clients such as o2 Telefonica, Specsavers, Hampshire Constabulary and many other well-known names.
– I was speechless when I receive the phone call from Daily Echo. I am very proud and thankful for the recognition – said Tomasz Dyl, shortly after receiving the confirmation of the shortlisting.
Tomasz has received a total of two nominations; one from Sarah Dunlop, Associate Lecture in Marketing of Southampton Solent University and another one from Transliteria’s Managing Director, Ewa Erdmann.
– Tomasz is an amazing and innovative young man who deserves recognition for his numerous achievements. I am very proud to nominate Tomasz for the award of the Young Entrepreneur of the Year and he thoroughly deserves it – said Sarah Dunlop.
As well as managing GottaBe!, Tomasz is also a Partner at Magazyn PL, a Polish weekly magazine that he set it up in partnership with a fellow student, James Payne in December 2012.
The Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award is part of the South Coast Business Awards, organized by Southern Daily Echo in association with Trethowans and aims to reward the best in local business and recognize the achievements of individuals, aged 30 and below, across Hampshire and Isle of Wight.
– The Award will be given to an individual whom the judges consider can best demonstrate exceptional vision and leadership in the establishment and development of a strong belief in oneself – said spokesperson of Southern Daily Echo.
The Awards Ceremony will take place on Friday, 12th July at De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton.
