Interest in Asian food is at an all time high in the UK. The country’s Asian restaurants are winning world-wide acclaim, celebrity chefs are taking much inspiration from ethnic cooking styles, and the wider British population has realised that there is more to Asian cuisine than chicken tika masala.
Spice Life is here to sate the appetite of this rapidly growing market. Each issue, the magazine features top recipes from the biggest stars in Asian cuisine, as well as tips on healthy eating, making the most of Asian ingredients, and insider info on the best places to dine.
But it is much more than a food magazine and each issue is also crammed with features on travel, beauty, arts and entertainment.
“Spice Life caters to the interests of the modern Asian woman but we also wanted to create something unique that would reflect the massive interest more generally in the UK for all things Asian,” said editor Farah Ahsan. “Spice Life is a glossy publication that brings together all that is exciting about Asian food and lifestyle in Britain today.”
The magazine has already attracted some of the biggest names on the Asian food scene, including Café Spice Namaste’s Cyrus Todiwala and Michelin-star award winner Atul Kochhar. Coming up in the next issue – the festival special – will be recipes from Ken Hom, Pat Chapman, Chef Jolly and Roopa Gulati, to name but a few, as well as tips for Diwali, Eid and Christmas entertaining.
Spice Life in an independent bi-monthly magazine distributed throughout the UK. It is available in all major newsagents as well as being stocked by many independent retailers nationwide.
