His passion to really make a difference for young people was realised in the early part of 2009 where he was the only black student representative from across the UK to present information pertaining to issues surrounding higher education to the Innovation, Universities, Science and Skills Committee at the House of Commons.
Arnold’s entrepreneurial characteristics was noted in his final year at University by a Make Your Mark Representative who invited Arnold to become an Ambassador for ‘Make your Mark’; a campaign that aims to give young people in the UK the confidence, skills and ambition to be enterprising – to have ideas and make them happen.
