Finally the Chardham Yatra heads towards Badrinath in Uttarakhand. The temple is surrounded by 2 ranges named ‘Nar’ and ‘Narayan’. The holy temple is surrounded by the mountain ranges and the nearest mountain is known as ‘Neelkantha’ peak. This temple is regarded as ‘the abode of Lord Vishnu’. The temple is situated at the height of 3,133 meters. The temple stands on the banks of river Alakananda.
