Simply Singapore food festival at the Royal Garden Hotel

Kensington’s favourite five star hotel, the Royal Garden, is to play host to the Simply Singapore festival from 5th October – 14th October for the fourth consecutive year. Sponsored by Singapore Airlines, the festival gives visitors the chance to experience Singapore’s exciting cuisine, prepared by some of the island’s leading chefs who will be flown over especially from the Royal Garden’s internationally renowned sister hotel in Singapore, the Goodwood Park.

The Park Terrace restaurant is to be transformed into a Singaporean eatery, reminiscent of the country’s famed Hawker Stall food markets. Guests will be treated to a traditional buffet with delicious delicacies including a variety of well-known and some lesser-known dishes including Beef Rendang, Chilli Crab, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Satay and Yong Tau Foo.

Steve Munkley, Executive Chef at the Royal Garden Hotel commented: ‘Singapore’s cultural diversity is very much replicated in its cuisine, it has a rich blend of flavours and takes its influence from Chinese, Malay, Indian and Peranakan cuisines. Simply Singapore at the Royal Garden has proven extremely popular in the past and we are delighted to be able to bring this cuisine to London for the fourth year running.’
