The event hosted by actress Caroline Chekezie (‘As If’ and ‘Footballers Wives’ star) was hailed a major success as Black British celebrities came and showed they support on the initiative.
Children from a local school gave a demonstration on ‘the importance of eating fresh fruit’ while African fashion designer ‘Deola Sagoe’ gave a sneak preview on her bespoke collection.
BBC2’s ‘2005 Apprentice winner – Tim Campbell’ raised questions on the initiative.
Also in attendance was RnB Singer Keisha White, Choice FM presenter, Angie Le Mar, UK Urban artist and Mercury Award winner ‘Sway’, and actress Ellen Thomas.
