Casting for an Indian (Hindi-English) feature film
Hi,
My name is Anand Sivakumaran and I am directing a film called Chickotee.
The synopsis in a nutshell - In the summer of 1991, a time before cellphones, internet and cable TV, a time of innocence, a 15 year old boy, living in a railway colony falls in love for the first time. And all hell breaks loose... :)
Am casting for
SANJANA: The heroine of our story. Needs to look around 15 years old. Very pretty, cute and sweet. Has an aura of vulnerability and innocence about her. But isn�t just a pretty face. While definitely not a tomboy, she�s quite spunky, can sock a boy or whack a bouncer for a sixer. Confident but also very emotional. Friendly and chirpy but not over bubbly and extra talkative. has seen 9 schools in ten years thanks to her dad's transferable job and hence always feels like a bit of an outsider anywhere. Is friendly but doesn't give herself completely to any friendship or relationship very quickly.
The shooting will be in Delhi, India. The language will be a mix of HIndi and English
