Youths And Parents Invited To Attended Conscious Rap Discussion And Showcase

Rap often gets a bad rap for glamorisation of negativity. But there are several rap artists who use the artform to empower, educate and uplift. This discussion and showcase is for youths, or concerned parents, to find out conscious rap from London

Akoben Awards/Music4Causes Presents 4 The Hard Way: Hip-Hop On A Conscious Tip. This is a chance to hear some conscious rap, including tracks made for BTWSC & Akoben Awards’ Music4Causes edu-tainment strand, and for artists and the inter-generational audience to explore issues around hip-hop music as used to educate, entertain, empower through videos, discussions, performance and special freestyle by conscious rappers, including Paradise, Silas Zephania, and Kimba.

If you wish to flex your lyrical skills to the theme that will be given during the event, you are welcome to join the freestyling session. In association with BTWSC, Akoben Awards/Music4Causes. Suitable for adults and young people.
