Multi-talented Muslim artist Sami Yusuf returns to the UK this April for a spectacular tour in association with Penny Appeal, raising money for orphans worldwide.
In his first UK tour since 2008, Sami will be performing in eight cities, starting in Birmingham on Friday 24th April and moving on to Oldham, Luton, Bradford, London, Manchester, Glasgow and High Wycombe.
Sami is well-known for being a tireless humanitarian campaigner and a musician with a message. He learned to play several instruments at a young age, has studied with a number of renowned composers, toured extensively and appeared on TV stations around the world, including the BBC, CNN and Al Jazeera.
Sami’s dedication to helping people around the world continues through this tour too, with each show being hosted by Penny Appeal to raise money for orphans through the charity’s Orphan Kind programme.
Under his self-coined musical genre of spiritique, Sami incorporates Middle Eastern and Western harmonics, underpinned by spirituality, to create an all-encompassing and all-inclusive sound, utilising music as a facilitator for spiritual appreciation, regardless of race and religion.
