Ricardo Garcia’s Flamenco Flow @ ignite, Royal Albert Hall’s free lively lunchtime series

This summer, the Royal Albert Hall introduces the third season of its free lively lunchtime music series, ignite, offering a wide range of styles to suit all musical tastes in the relaxed atmosphere of the Café Consort on most Fridays from June to August, 12 noon to 1.30pm.

Ricardo Garcia is a truly eclectic guitarist. His roots lie in Flamenco but in recent years he has played jazz and African music, collaborated with a sitar and tabla player and worked with traditional Scottish musicians. This performance of authentic Flamenco encompasses traditional elements from Indian and Arabic backgrounds with modern influences such as jazz, Latin jazz and bossa nova. Featuring Ricardo Garcia on flamenco guitar, Emma Smith on bass and Jorge Diaz on cajon.
