JE Palmer’s proves home is where the heart is with inspiring new single ‘Coming Home’

JE Palmer

Gospel artist J.E. Palmer is a man true to his words and delivers an inspirational message on his latest single, “Coming Home”. The single was recently launched at a charitable event entitled, ‘Music, Flavour & Flair’ in Shirley Parish Hall, Croydon where J.E. Palmer demonstrated his genuine compassion for his community here and abroad. The event was hosted to assist with JE Palmer’s charity work in supporting community projects in his native home in St Catherine, Jamaica, as well as the development of initiatives by Shiloh Worship Centre in his current hometown in Croydon. The evening was a success and well attended which also saw upcoming artists promoting their own messages through music.

The single itself was well received with strong and inspiring lyrics; ‘Coming Home, no more will I roam… you are like the honey from the comb, sweet aroma you capture me…. I’m coming home’. This is a song of the heart for those who long for comfort and security; for the vulnerable and those who may have lost their way, as well as for those who welcome them home. “At some point everyone needs to be ‘home’ where the sweet aroma of love captivates and draws one back to the heart of love.” says J.E. Palmer of one of the inspirations behind the title.

‘You are like the lily from the fields, love so sweet, I’m coming home’; this reflects the unending love and forgiveness that can be found in the arms of our heavenly Father”.

The main inspiration of the song is the story of the Prodigal who saw the need to return home to the ‘luxury’ and open-arms that is available. In times of adversities, ‘Coming Home’ appeals to a wide audience in that it will touch those in need of reminding that they are not alone. The single also seeks to reach out to brave soldiers who have been to battle and long for home and peace among a loving family.

Coming Home is available digitally on iTunes, Amazon Mp3, CD Baby, JE Palmer’s website and Facebook Music Store as well as other online outlets.
