Jahson has been performing his new single Gimme Gimme recently at the Nottinghill Carnival , and the Miss Trinidad and Tobago UK Beauty Pageant, where Kent resident teacher Miss Valenee Gosine was the winner. Jahson was recently seen on BBC South East Today performing at the Black History Month launch. Jahson is working on his album Artisitc Licence with Alan Glass, who has worked with Mystique and George Benson to name a few , is currently proving to be a hit with audiences across the UK. Jahson has also attended the Kickers Urban Music awards Press launch in support of new artists.
Mobo award winning artist Kele Le Roc who following her recent club success with “My Love” is set to release the first single “Some other girl from her new album. Kele famously collaborated with Basement Jaxx on a track called “Romeo and her single Lil bit of Lovin were top ten hits!
Tuggawar is releasing singles from is new album Fidayz on JetStar records, Tuggawar has performed with the likes of Marques Houston , Sly and Robbie and has performed all over the Caribbean and parts of Africa
4Sure who performed in front of over 10 million people on the X Factor have continued on the road to success and wow the audience with their unique and distinctive sound. They are now on the verge of a major record deal, and have recently performed in Kent and the Black History launch and with Ben from the X Factor.
Representatives from Atlantic Records, Jet Star Records, Greensleeves Records, and the Drifters will also be at the party and the ceremony supporting the event.
The party organised by Hummingbird Entertainments will have other VIP’s including Patrick Augusts, 4Sure, The Drifters, to name a few.
This will truly be a star studded event, where you can party with the stars and be given a sneak preview of the some of the best music yet featuring four very talented artists one of whom is Medway’s own!
This will be the first of many events organised by the company which aims to promote local talent, hence the reason for inviting so many people from the music industry.
“We want to show them the talent we have in Medway and in the UK, and to open up a platform for other artists who don’t often get the this sort of opportunity as well as provide a different type of entertainment experience for people” said Carol Stewart Director of Hummingbird Entertainments
Some of the proceeds from the event are going to support local Medway organisation Medway African Caribbean Association, to support the Saturday School and the Senior Citizens Group.
