International broadcaster Sony TV teams up with Birmingham

Whilst the current economic climate may be frightening some businesses into submission, it has only served to fuel the enterprising spirit of Itihaas. The fine dining Indian restaurant which had extended its arm into the world of catering and has teamed up with Sony Television and the UK’s largest caterer, Madhu’s, to hold a massive event on New Years Eve at the Hilton Metropole.

Itihaas’ restaurant is one of Birmingham finest Indian restaurant and was awarded the Best Indian Restaurant in the UK, by the Cobra Good Curry Guide 2008. It has also made great inroads through their outdoor catering division, providing an haute cuisine service to the wedding market.

Raj Rana, Itihaas’ proprietor, said: “It is a real coup to sign up with Sony TV and it has enabled us to put together two fantastic events for New Year. One event that will appeal to the younger clientele with a lower ticket prices and great entertainment from the Asian R&B artist Mumzy; and the other is a sophisticated banquet and Masquerade Ball at the NEC with the bhangra sensation Silinder Pardesi.”
