Breaking the Ice – London’s premier RnB and Hip Hop karaoke night

Breaking the Ice - London

After a two month hiatus Breaking the Ice, London’s premier rnb and hip hop karaoke night is back.

Your hosts Annika and Natalie will guide you through a jam packed night of karaoke fun and mayhem at The Lane Bar, Osbourne Street (Brick Lane), E1 6TE.

From its conception in April 2007 the monthly after work karaoke party has become the coolest and most fun place to be on a Wednesday night.

Daniel Beddingfield, Kojo the Comedian and former Big Brother finalists are just some of the celebs that have sung or rapped their hearts out on stage.

As the organisers say ‘Sticking the proverbial two fingers up at traditional Karaoke’, you’ll no longer have to resort to singing tired 80s pop songs. Instead, you can pick from an urban hit list of past and present tunes such as Mary J, Snoop, Beyonce and Sean Paul.

The karaoke kicks off at 8pm but get there early to ensure your spot on the stage and a MC or soul diva stage name as well as a good viewing position to watch the fun.

It really is a date for your diary. Miss it, miss out.
