Bass of Bengal presents DESI compilation vol.1

Bass of Bengal presents DESI compilation vol.1

Bass of Bengal is opening doors for all sorts of Asian talent into the music industry and is changing the Desi scene.

BASS OF BENGAL records was founded in 2006, it aims to provide quality music to individuals who are tired of the same sounds coming out of the Asian scene. It is redifing the DESI genre and is making it clear that DESI is not restricted to only one region or one type of music, it applies to all Asian music. The Asian music industry is currently dominated by Bollywood and Bhangra, one of the major breakthroughs of BASS OF BENGAL is it is opening another portal to the asian scene, by bringing you never heard before music for example Asian Hip-Hop in different dialects, which is strongly contributing towards making Hip-Hop global. The domination of Asian music by bollywood is about to change. there is a sense of responsibility to open doors to all Asians in the UK aswell as Indians there are also Bengalis, Sri-Lankans and Pakistanis. BASS OF BENGAL is currently in the process of releasing a Compilation that promises to redifine the DESI genre forever.

Desi compilation vol.1 is currently being worked on and setting release on international territories such as USA, UK and ASIA. It is going to redefine the Desi genre totally by making a statement that Desi does not or shouldn’t be sterotyped to one region or type of music, but applies to all Asian Urban talent. The compilation will include Asian influenced beats and vocals from artists such as Revolutionary artist Wizeguy, Fusing Naked Beats, Bengali rapper J2, Wais, Sandhya, Reggae star General Levy, Bay Area rapper Ackrymonious and more. The compilation which will be released under BASS OF BENGAL records is set to tear up speakers this summer. Desi will include Bengali Hip-Hop, Ragga, Indian Singing, Tabla beats, all sorts of flavours compiled onto one cd.
