Over 5,000 visitors attended the Muslim Lifestyle Expo 2015 which brought together a number of sectors such as fashion, food and drink, travel, health & beauty and finance under one platform.
The event attracted 80 exhibitors (Including the Beard Company)from across the world including Malaysia, South Africa, Norway, Turkey and Denmark in the biggest ever showcase of its kind seen in the UK.
The Muslim consumer lifestyle market is now one of the fastest growing sectors globally with the UK seen as a key strategic player. A recent report valued the global expenditure on food and lifestyle sectors by Muslims at £1.36 trillion.
He said: “This is the biggest event seen in the UK focusing directly at the leading role played by Muslims in the UK in all aspects of society.
Exhibitors who have signed up include international super brand Tesla Motors, Moslema in Style from Malaysia, Nasim’s Baby Food from Norway and Aegean Dream Homes of Turkey.
UK companies include ieat Foods, international fashion blogger Pearl Daisy, Lewis Pies, Aisha Halal Baby Food, Al Murad, Brunei Halal, Merlyn Wealth Management and The Dressmaker London.
The two day event featured a live fashion show directed by creative director, Zaf Shabbir and provide live comedy by rising star Guzzy Bear. The Expo hosted dedicated seminars covering subjects like travel, Halal Lifestyle, Islamic finance and more.
The Muslim Lifestyle Expo was held at the Ricoh Arena on August 1 & August 2.
The show attracted sponsors such as Al Rayan Bank, Human Appeal International, Brunei Halal and iEat foods and has chosen Zoe’s children’s Hospice in Coventry as the nominated charity.
