The countdown as already begun until their 3rd Annual Fundraising Black History Month Extravaganza, which will be held again on Saturday the 29th October at the 5 * Thistle Hotel , Bryanston St ,Marble Arch ,London W1H 7EH .
The foundations founder & CEO Jacqueline Wabara believes that Black History Month Celebrations must be heightened in order to re-instil pride and increase the levels of social cohesion amongst the diverse Black communities that reside within the UK. She stated during a recent interview that ‘ The Miss Nubian Foundation are determined to reposition Black History Month to Forefront of the UK Mainstream events Calendar and the public should expect to witness a spectacular showcase at the end of celebratory month.
The eagerly awaited Arts , Music, Fashion and Culture themed evening in aid of the Global reduction of HIV and Aids will also include ,Nubian Expo, Fundraising Auctions and promises to showcase an exemplary line-up of top fashion designers, dancers, vocalist, poets ,a show stopping performance by the new All Girl group ‘ SHiiKANE ‘and the eagerly awaited Miss Nubian UK 2011 Grand Finale, where the most talented and ambitious finalists will be representing their African & Caribbean Countries of Origin and battle it out to win the converted title.

With the entertainment on the night being provided by artistes who originate from over 18 different African and Caribbean Countries and without a doubt, the 1000’s of audiences who are expected to attend and watch the event will reflect this.
