Over the last few years, a new form of innovative Islamic infused music known as (nasheeds) have become extremely popular amongst Muslim children, teenagers and adults, across the world. As an alternative to popular music, the styles of songs, sung in English, Arabic and Urdu range from RnB, Hip Hop, Folk, Rap to traditional beats, which have been formulated as a means to promote positives messages about Islam and the hope for a unified and peaceful world.
Performing on stage will be international Muslim artists including, America’s most successful Muslim Hip Hop bands, Native Deen and Seven 8 Six. Performing innovative upbeat prolific poetry will be Brother Dash. From Canada, Dawud Warnsby Ali. South Africa, Zain Bikha, Britain’s Nazeel Azami, Mesud Kurtis, and Hamza Robertson. From Malaysia Cheb Ali, and from the Middle East, Mohammed Al-Husayan, Ahmed Bukhatir, Yahya Hawwa, Abu Ratib and Imad Rumi. Also, sharing the stage will be international acclaimed Pakistani artists, Junaid Jamshed and Najam Sheraz.
Islam Channel’s CEO, Mohamed Ali emphasizes the event will help to bring all people from various cultures and beliefs together.
