GROUND BREAKING FILMS FROM SOUTH AFRICA  SHOWN IN LONDON

Launched at the end of 2014 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the first democratic elections in South Africa, SOUTH AFRICA AT 20: THE FREEDOM TOUR presents a truly innovative programme of films, documentaries, and animation features at cinemas across the UK. April 17th saw a one-off screening of the recently discovered and restored 1927 black and white documentary ‘SILIVA THE ZULU’ made by Italian explorer and filmmaker Attilio Gatti. This fascinating silent movie runs for 65 minutes and will be accompanied by an original music score composed and performed by JUWON OGUNGBE, the British Nigerian musician, composer and performer.
