Roger Robinson introduces ‘Suckle’

Roger Robinson introduces

As part of Lewisham’s Black History Month celebrations, author Roger Robinson will be introducing his book ‘Suckle’ at Lewisham Library on Thursday 1 October.

A new publication from a writer chosen by Decibel as one of 50 writers who have most influenced black British writing over the past 50 years.

In a world where black music and writing is often criticised for macho posturing, Roger’s choice of book title is interesting. His self-deprecating wit makes his work hugely enjoyable both on the stage and off the page.

This event was organised by Lewisham Council in In association with Flipped Eye publishing. It is aimed at ages 16 and over and signed copies will be available on the night.
