PureJewels, Successfully Launch The Platinum Heritage Collection During London Jewellery Week

LONDON, June 2010 -PureJewels’ award winning Platinum Heritage Collection was successfully unveiled as the flagship collection for London Jewellery Week on Friday 11th June at ‘Treasure’. The bespoke 6 piece collection was launched with a spellbinding private showing attended by jewellery luminaries including Shaun Leane and Johnny Rocket.

PureJewels alongside, Swarovski’s Runway Rocks were one of only four pop up boutiques at the contemporary exhibition held at Victoria House, Southampton Row. The exhibition showcased 90 other contemporary brands and the event welcomed approximately 5,000 people through their doors. The South Asian brand has broken new ground and is the first to have made strides in the mainstream industry without compromising their heritage.

The Platinum Heritage Collection was commissioned and brought to life by six top British Jewellery Designers and reflected the rich heritage of the PureJewels brand. Each beautifully crafted piece in platinum and diamonds reflected the cultural journey that the family run business had taken from India to England via Kenya.

As part of the launch of the Platinum Heritage Collection, a bespoke handcrafted gown made from Platinum thread and worth £150,000 was displayed by The Platinum Guild International.

Jayant Raniga, Brand Manager for PureJewels said “PureJewels is the product of a remarkable journey by Bhanji Gokaldas, our grandfather. The launch at Treasure was the first and significant step for our company to position ourselves as a design led brand”

Della Tinsley, Director at London Jewellery Week commented “The Platinum Heritage Collection reflects the very spirit of what London Jewellery Week is about and we we’re proud to host it at Treasure as our flagship collection”.
