The Holy Tabernacle Ministries (HTM) Presents Nubian Heritage: Our-History

Nubian Heritage: Our Story funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund aims to create a platform of self expression of African and African Caribbean culture within British Heritage. The project creates an opportunity for the African/Caribbean community to transform and recreate their appreciation of who they are by providing various platforms to share their culture within the community and for the wider community to share understand and appreciate the contributions of the African/ African Caribbean community to British Heritage.

This is an event for the whole family.

Nubian Heritage Cultural Day
Sunday 17th September 2006 (12-8.30pm)

A day of Entertainment including 4 seminar speakers and special guests, Childrens natural hair workshops, braiding demonstrations by young designed braiders highlighting the creativity of styling African hair, fun outdoor activities, African/Caribbean cultural arts, Nubian village market and traditional outdoor jerk cooking for the whole family.
