Muslim-Jewish comedy troupe return to the Tricycle Theatre with new show

Muslim and Jewish performers take a satirical look at extremism and the government’s response to it
‘Extreme Prevention Goes Global’: 7th & 14th Nov 2010, 6pm, Tricycle Theatre, Kilburn

After a successful tour in May, MUJU, the Muslim-Jewish collective, return to London with an updated and extended production of their sharply satirical comedy sketch show, Extreme Prevention. The show is set against the backdrop of the last government’s ‘preventing extremism’ agenda that included radio campaigns warning us ‘if you suspect it, report it’, to school teachers being trained to identify ‘extremist children’. Devised and performed by Muslim and Jewish actors, the show has new additional content reflecting recent developments at home and abroad.

Both nights will also include live performances from Imran Yusuf (Edinburgh Festival Best Newcomer Nominee 2010) and Joe Bor (‘Terrific’ Time Out)
