Music stars come out to celebrate peace in the capital and make a positive stand against violence in London.

This year, London Week of Peace is staging the UK’s finest artist at their annual Peace concert in the capitals famous Trafalgar Square. The Peace concert is organised by Origins Media ( and is being supported by Kiss 100 FM. The show itself will be hosted by breakfast show hosts Rickie & Melvin and broadcast live. The event will be filmed and broadcasted live on the Internet to a worldwide audience of millions and available on and The concert launches the London Week of Peace and the series of community activities across the capital through out the week. The aim of the concert has been to bring together Londoners of all walks of life and to celebrate London and make a stand against violence in out community.

Acts performing on the day include Ironik, N Dubbz, Akala, Ava Leigh, Raghav, Kray Twinz, Fun’Dmental 03 (FDM), Sincere, Latin hip hop star Papo Record, Chinese pop star Ayi Jahi, DJ Kofi and many more.

London Week of Peace supporter Annie Lennox says “The very foundations of human survival depend upon peaceful co existence and co operation between nations and individuals, and yet mankind has spent centuries creating and perpetuating conflict, bloodshed and devastation If we want “peace,” we have to speak up… we have to become active. We have to be the change we want to see; otherwise it’s just business as usual.”

The show will open with the finalists of the London Talent Quest. The 12 finalists will compete live on stage at Trafalgar square to win the fabulous prizes below.

The winners of the talent quest will receive:
• A track recorded by award winning producers IGNORANTZ (Britney Spears, Craig David, K-Ci & Jojo, Isley Brothers)
• A track recorded by award winning producers The KRAY TWINZ (Lethal B, Twista, Truth Hurts, Ray-J)
• £500 Prize Money
