Ska Legend’s The Beat head up a uniquely eclectic line-up of over 1000 local and international performers on 8 briliantly themed stages showcasing theatre, music, circus, magic, art, sport, dance, spoken word, cabaret and much more.
Be a part of Lewisham’s Big Dance taking place in front of the main stage. 1000’s of participants will be gathering to perform a choreographed routine to ‘Walking On Sunshine’, performed live by Katrina (ex Katrina & The Waves).
The Rockland’s stage will be showcasing up-and-coming bands from Lewisham. Expect punk pop from young band Havoc’s Ways, ska from Bad Habits, indie sounds from Shiva and much more.
The Dance For Life stage will feature Lewisham’s coolest and funkiest dancers including Britain’s Got Talent’s Abyss. There will be all styles of dance from quadrille to street dance, an MC marathon with special guests Queens English. Headlining the stage are local singing sensations Shiikane.
Look out for the Festival Folly stage where you can take time to relax and enjoy the acoustic sounds of Jimmy Cash, Forest Hill Pickers and the Inspired Word Collective.
Big Top Tea Rooms is the place to be if you want to enjoy a cream tea and learn how to jive with our host Jeff Two Tone Boogie. There will be various dance styles taught throughout the day, plus magic shows and performance from Brockley Ukulele Group.
In the evening The Big Top Tea Rooms will transform into the Rainbow Room Cabaret which is to be hosted by the hilariously funny musical double act, Topping & Butch. In here you can dance the night away to motown group GoodTimes and get on down to the pumping disco!
Plus there will be a, Real Ale Tavern, Bonkersfest Bandstand, Rock n Soul tent, Kid’s Space Hop, Big Dance, Craft Market, Ferris Wheel, and much more.
