ABF The Soldiers’ Charity has been giving lifetime support to each and every serving and retired soldier and their families for more than 66 years. They help in various areas from debt relief to education bursaries. The Big Curry is an annual fundraising campaign from ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.
Nahim Aslam, owner of the Indian Ocean says; “Our Big Curry Charity Night is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy delicious Indian cuisine whilst raising money for our brave soldiers. So much is asked of these heroic men and women – we only need to look in a newspaper to see the effects that the current conflicts are having – and this is our way of giving something back to them.
“We’re hosting our own Big Curry event to allow everyone, be they regulars or new to our restaurant, the opportunity to show their support for our troops. A curry with friends whilst raising money for charity – it just couldn’t be easier could it?!”
The charity night will include drinks, assorted canapés, a full selection of main meals from the Indian Ocean’s tasty Punjabi and Kashmiry menu and traditional Indian and British desserts, followed by coffee and Kashmiry chai tea. There will also be a raffle and live entertainment from songstress Jennie Bonita.
Tickets are £25.00 per person and can be purchased in the restaurant or over the phone on 0161 343 3343.
