The campaign which enables Chilli Tickets’ clients to donate a percentage of their ticket sales via the website saw a positive start with immediate sign ups. Clients are able to choose the percentage of sales they wish to donate which Chilli Tickets pledges to match.
“Choosing a charity partner is not an easy task; at Chilli Tickets we wish to help those working within some of the world’s poorest areas, and especially help vulnerable children fulfill their positive roles in society. That’s why we are doing our bit by working with World Vision as our preferred charity. We’ve also found that customers are more likely to purchase tickets to an event within our charity programme, making it a win-win situation for World Vision and the event organiser.” – Urvashi Lad, Director, Chilli Tickets
World Vision appreciates the pro-active effort Chilli Tickets have put into raising awareness as well as funding and being a part of their Corporate Sponsorship programme.
“We are delighted that Chilli Tickets has chosen to support World Vision’s work with the poorest communities around the world. The money raised will make a real difference to the lives of children and their families, living in poverty, by helping to provide life essentials like food, clean drinking water and sanitation, education and healthcare and the means to lift themselves out of poverty.” – Vicki Leverett, Senior Communications Officer, World Vision
Chilli Tickets is on target to raise over £10,000 for World Vision over the next 12 months. The Chilli Tickets charity programme is open to all event organisers who sign up to use the service to sell tickets.
