Get ready to ‘Shimmy’ as Preeya Kalidas and Mumzy Stranger are set to perform their debut track on BBC’s National Lottery next Saturday 24th July.

The duo are set to make history as this is the first time the lottery has ever seen two British Asian acts perform on the show since it became televised in 1994. Their breakthrough performance is set to pave the way for future Asian stars to follow.

Viewers will be able to tune in next Saturday evening to see the talented Mumzy Stranger alongside ex-eastenders starlet Preeya perform ‘Shimmy’ which is set to be released on July 24th.

Commenting on the performance ahead Mumzy explains “It’s an honour to be on the National Lottery and I hope we are the first of many British Asian acts to perform on the show”. Not only will the duo be performing but Preeya will also be hitting the red button for the live draw “…I am really looking forward to performing on the show and I can’t wait to make one lucky viewer a millionaire”

Next Saturday night, 15 million viewers will be tuning in for a 1 in 14 million chance of winning but the only thing certain is the opportunity to see 2 one in a million stars perform together.
