Six Pillars to Persia - outsider Iranian diaspora on Resonancefm

'Six Pillars to Persia' is in its second series introducing new artists in many mediums and giving a furtive look at what modern Iranian life is as reflected through its art.

Six Pillars to Persia is fringe show that brings the Iranian arts diaspora together. Last series included a broadcast of Abbas Kiarostami's talks, a personla tour of the Persia Exhibition at the British Museum with the curator, the company that released Marmoulak in the UK, 'We Are Iran' writer Nasrin Allavi, artist Reza Aramesh, sound artist Sussan Deyhim, cross-dressing theminist Armen Ra and experimentalist Amir Baghiri.

This time we feature Sote (released on Warp records) and many more modern artists and writers, including some especially commissioned music.
