Capturing the Magic of Mauritius - Les Pavillons

Images Video Audio
Located on the turquoise lagoon of Le Morne peninsula, on the southwest coast of Mauritius, Les Pavillons offers guests a relaxing holiday experience. The hotel’s unique position – the imposing Morne Brabant Mountain contrasting with the sheltered crystal waters – provides an idyllic setting in which guests can unwind. The colonial-style villas and lush tropical gardens reflect the island’s beauty, while friendly staff provide first class Mauritian hospitality. A variety of restaurants, water sports, leisure and business facilities ensure that Les Pavillons is an ideal holiday choice for anyone looking to sample the magic of Mauritius.
With a choice of three restaurants, one of the highlights of a stay at Les Pavillons is undoubtedly the food. The Etoile de Mer is open daily for breakfast and dinner. The tantalising aroma of spices wafting from this buffet-style restaurant tempts guests with a range of cooking styles to sample, from authentic Creole and Asian to Indian and Italian cuisine. For casual dining, Le Benitier on the beachfront is a favourite spot to enjoy a light lunch, a cooling ice cream or a Mauritian pancake, or a fresh seafood extravaganza at night. The picturesque Provence restaurant offers a bright and varied menu specialising in Mediterranean cuisine. Epicure, the delicatessen shop, sells a wide range of quality products and picnic hampers, which are ideal for guests wishing to go off and explore the hidden beaches. Fresh fruit cocktails can be enjoyed by the pool at the Tam Tam Bar, which also has live music during the evening. For those wanting to watch the sun go down, the appropriately-named Sunset Bar offers incredible views of the lagoon.

There are a variety of bedrooms catering for different needs: 60 standard rooms, 64 Superior Rooms, 15 Deluxe rooms and 10 Junior Suites. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and a balcony or sea view, and are fully equipped with AC, mini bar, personal safe, TV and video, telephone, hair dryer, and tea and coffee making facilities. The luxurious Junior Suites have indulgent steam baths.

The Mini Club, open from 09.30 until 22.00, is run by qualified hostesses who ensure fun-filled days for children aged 3-11, while the trendy New Teen’s club organises a variety of activities for teenagers.

The lagoon, protected by coral reefs, is ideal for boat trips and water sports. Wind surfing, pedal boat rides, canoeing, sailing, glass-bottom trips, snorkelling and water skiing are all available, whilst kite surfing lessons have been recently introduced for those looking to perfect a new, adventurous skill. Those who prefer staying on land can enjoy table tennis, petanque, tennis courts, mini-golf and volleyball, or work out in the fitness room. Mountain bikes, internet access and a games room with pool table are also available at a small additional cost.

The spa at Les Pavillons, Le Jardin d’Eden, is an oasis of tranquillity. Its three luxury massage rooms offer the ultimate in pampering. Each revitalising treatment combines a variety of techniques and natural ingredients, from mineral-rich seaweed to Asian oils, providing a sensual and invigorating experience. Guests can further unwind in the spa Jacuzzi in the middle of the tropical garden.

For business guests, Les Pavillons has an air-conditioned conference room seating 40 people and equipped with audio-visual equipment.

Affordable yet enchanting, Les Pavillons is ideal for guests looking to experience the genuine warmth and spirit of Mauritius.
