Groundbreaking Punjabi Wolves to hold annual Charity Event

Images Video Audio
Punjabi Wolves, the world’s largest organised ethnic supporters group and one of the fastest growing in the U.K are hosting a prestigious Charity Night on Saturday 3rd October 2009 at The Diamond Banqueting Suite, Wolverhampton in aid of Promise Dreams, Compton Hospice, Cleft Lip and Palate and India Housing.
Punjabi Wolves boast a broad and diverse fan base which number in excess of 500. Although the origins of the supporters group are Punjabi, the support and membership of the club is that of an integrated community. Punjabi Wolves have members from all corners of the community and thus pride themselves on reflecting a true cross representation of the local football fan base that follows Wolves.

Back in February 2007, Punjabi Wolves raised over £28,000 in a single Charity Night which they aim to surpass!

The event is supported by Birmingham Football Association the FA’s Brendon Batson and Kick It Out.

Piara Powar, Director of Kick It Out, said "The Punjabi Wolves are a groundbreaking group of supporters. They continue to act as a beacon for football supporters from ethnic minorities across the country in the way they bring passion, a connection with local communities, and international links."

If you would like to attend this Charity Night and support Punjabi Wolves’ quest in helping the community unify through the power of football then please contact us at info@punjabiwolves.co.uk or visit our website www.punjabiwolves.co.uk
