The event management and Asian wedding specialist will be joining a select number of UK companies on next week's trip (16th to 19th June) to the city which is due to host the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Headed by Tessa Jowell, Minister for the Olympics and London, the delegation will be honoured with a special reception before embarking on a round of meetings and visits throughout Vancouver looking at the potential for trade links between Canada and the UK during the next fours years of Olympics activity. Leicester company Tania-Tapel Limited was set up by businesswoman Anita Patel over 12 years ago to specialise in event management, ethnic marketing and Asian wedding planning and has since expanded to create operations in Mumbai and Dubai. Earlier this year, the company was voted the UK's premier wedding planners in the prestigious WrapIt wedding industry awards.
