Bring the Wagamama Experience Home

Have you ever tucked into your favourite Wagamama dish at one of their many restaurants and wished you could recreate that experience at home? Well, now you can with the launch of six new Wagamama sauces.
Renowned for its Asian inspired cuisine and style and with restaurants across the UK, Wagamama has been a hit with diners since its first restaurant opened in 1992. Made from the finest ingredients, the new Wagamama range has been heavily influenced by the restaurant menu and includes sauces which can be used for stir-frying, marinating or dipping.

Developed by Wagamama chefs, the range includes a variety of flavours which will excite the taste buds and, in keeping with Wagamama’s ‘positive eating, positive living’ thinking, the sauces are all natural - free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. Creating delicious meals that can be served in minutes, the Wagamama stir-fry sauces and marinades are great with meat, fish or vegetables while the dipping sauces provide the perfect accompaniment to spring rolls and snacks.

The range of Wagamama sauces includes:

Stir-fry sauces
Best added to stir-fries a few minutes before the end of cooking and versatile enough to be brushed onto meat, or fish or vegetables before grilling or used as a dipping sauce.

 Spicy chilli men stir-fry sauce (250ml, rrp £1.99) – a best selling restaurant menu dish - a spicy combination of red peppers, lemongrass, ginger and lots of red chilli.


 Fragrant coconut, ginger & lemongrass stir-fry sauce (250ml, rrp £1.99) – a zesty sauce inspired by another best selling Wagamama dish.

Marinades
For best results marinate overnight or drizzle over grilled meat or vegetables before serving.

 Sticky hoisin, mustard & garlic marinade (150ml, rrp £1.49) – a thick sticky marinade from the Wagamama cookbook.

 Rich soy & rice wine yakitori marinade (150ml, rrp £1.49) – a rich blend of soy, sake, plum sauce, ginger & a pinch of chilli which is used in the restaurants to coat skewered dishes.

Dipping sauces
Great with spring rolls, gyozas, crisps or snacks.

 Spicy cherry hoisin sauce (150ml, rrp £1.69) – used in the restaurants as a dipping sauce for duck gyoza, this sweet and spicy dipping sauce contains plum, red chilli, ginger and morello cherries.

 Roasted sweet chilli dipping sauce (150ml, rrp £1.49) – developed exclusively for the range by Wagamama chefs, this sauce contains roasted birds eye chilli, coriander, ginger and mint.

Quick, simple and easy to prepare – the new Wagamama sauces will be available in Sainsbury’s stores nationwide.
