Exclusive Wine Launch at Indian Ocean

Images Video Audio
Once again at the forefront of change in the spice industry, the Indian Ocean this week hosted the exclusive North of England launch for a new range of wines designed to complement the tastes and spices of curry.
As well as launching the wines from Taylor and Shroff, the evening was also a celebration of the Indian Ocean being named Best Restaurant in the North West at the British Curry Awards for the third year in a row.

Invited guests and media were treated to samples of the five flavours of wine along with canapés, followed by a delicious meal with dishes of varying intensity to partner each individual wine.

The wines have already been launched in India after three years of development on the sub-continent to ensure an authentic Indian taste. Now the Sussex based company is launching across Britain at the best Indian restaurants in the country.

Ben Furst from Taylor and Shroff said, “It was a great night at the Indian Ocean. People seemed to really enjoy the wines, and the menu suited the tastes very well. I look forward to a continued relationship with the Indian Ocean, and again, congratulations on the British Curry Awards hatrick.”

Fayaz Aslam, Marketing Manager of the Indian Ocean said, “At the Indian Ocean we stay at the top by always adapting to what is new, while remaining faithful to the basics of good, authentic and healthy Indian cuisine. As the most popular type of food in this country, curry has undergone a revolution that has seen it move away from its image as the late night food of choice after 10 beers, to a more refined and sophisticated dining experience.”

“Reflecting the new style of curry, Taylor and Shroff is an extremely exciting product. A range of wines designed to elegantly complement the flavours of Indian food is an innovative idea and one that fits firmly alongside good quality, authentic food like ours.”
