Desitara.com part of Connect Films Media, a part of S.Lad Group India presents Miss Bollywood UK 2010 contest taking place on the evening of Saturday 23rd October 2010 at the prestigious Hilton Hotel, NEC, Birmingham, promising to be a very high profile event with many A-list artists and VIP's attending. Miss Bollywood UK has been recognised as the premier talent, style and fashion event for women of all back grounds; as such Miss Bollywood UK has been a vehicle for contestant’s personal development within the Film, Fashion and Beauty industry in return giving something to the much needed and unfortunate individuals of this world by raising money for the NSPCC Child Voice Appeal. Miss Bollywood UK will be a high profiled event having a massive impact to the film industry and young individuals who will have the opportunity to showcase their talent and skills. This will not just be another beauty contest but an evening of glamour with celebrity judges, with a range of dance, musical performances celebrating the contribution and major role the film industry has made to existing and up and coming talent. Hosted by UK’s very own talented Dostana duo Love Bollywood BBC Asian Network presenter’s Raj & Pablo who will styled for the evening by award winning designer Ziggi of Ziggi Studio. Guests will see an amazing catwalk chorography by Tina Maan of Blush Team and Jaimal Mistry of S & J Stars. The finalists will be modeling exclusive breath taking designs from young up and coming designer’s Taran Nat of Tarans Vintage Wedding Collection and Anees Malik of Anees Malik Collections the outfits will be complemented with Cult British Beauty Brand Illamasqua. Illamasqua’s professional make up-artists will bring out each finalists individual personality and self expression using the only truly professional makeup range available on the High Street. The evening will run from 18.00 to around 22.45 with a VIP drinks reception hosted by East End Food and Madhus of London. The after show party will serve VIP guests with a delectable Bollywood Indian Cuisine with our very own Miss Bollywood UK cocktail followed by Desitara.com Bollywood Blast after show party hosted by Balle Balle Road show with a unique ray of top bollywood hits celebrating the official UK launch of Desitara.com the largest online talent portal. . Miss Bollywood UK has seen a wide range of applications from across the country coming from diverse backgrounds ageing from 18 to 27 year old and being a major success with support and backing from various institutes and organisations along with backing from leading film producers and directors in the Indian Film Industry. Semi finals took place on Wednesday 14th July at The Hilton NEC Birmingham where 50 shortlisted contestants were interviewed high profiled judges and entered for screen tests; the following 15 successful contestants were selected by independent judges for the finals: 1.
