Angelina Jolie talks about the Pakistani Floods

Images Video Audio
Shay & Sunny from Channel 4’s Family meet Angelina Jolie at the SALT premiere. They ask about her new film and what she has to say about the Pakistani Floods.
Angelina Jolie is known for her versatility as an actress so I was highly surprised to hear that she couldn’t dance or sing when I asked her whether she would consider doing a Bollywood film. Angelina Jolie was in London to promote her new film Salt where Sunny & I caught up with her.

Whilst we stood in the sunshine we couldn’t help but be engulfed in the phenomenon which is Angelina Jolie. Talking about the film Salt, Angelina said, ‘it was no easy shoot and I have a little scar on my forehead to prove it!’

Watching Angelina in an action film is very invigorating for women and it’s long overdue for a woman to take on the Bond’s and Bourne’s of action thrillers.

Even at a film premiere Angelina’s humanitarian side shines through. When I asked her about the flooding in Pakistan she said, like most people she was absolutely shocked at the scale of it and am not sure how to help… She said she would try to maintain the awareness of the situation and would be there in the coming months to help.

A woman of many talents Angelina’s new film looks sure to wow the audiences and generate a new line of female action heroines. Long overdue we say!
