Continental Bride, the UK-based bridal magazine catering especially for the unique needs of the modern woman of Middle-Eastern, Caribbean, African and Asian descent in the U.K. USA and Africa is to re-launch in October 2008. The magazine which has been in hiatus since May 2005 is re-launching with a new-look that will include more pages, edgy and funky photoshoots, fresh design and exciting bridal features. Bola Obileye, publisher and chief editor of Continental Bride, says: “Continental Bride is back, bigger and better than ever before. We are returning with fresh take on wedding fashion and hot wedding ideas not only for the bride and groom but also for the wedding party as a whole. Our brand new issue promises to be all Continental Bride is known and loved for. We're sure our readers are going to love it.” The new look Continental Bride goes on sale October 1 with a cover price of £3.50. Kofo Baptist, editor of the youth title www.streetbrand.com has come onboard as the editor of Continental Bride. She will be responsible for the editorial content, commissioning articles and editing of the magazine. She’s the main PR contact for the magazine. Kofo Baptist adds: “I’m glad to be part of the editorial team working hard to bring a new look Continental Bride Magazine to readers and I am so excited about the re-launch issue which is promising to be our best issue ever yet.” Continental Bride Magazine, have this week, unveiled a complete makeover of their website www.continentalbride.com which will provide users with an overview of the magazine including sections found in the magazine as well as new online-only sections. Visitors to the website will find the new look engaging and informative. Special features of the new site includes a news section, a free directory of bridal suppliers and an editor’s blog. |
