The Shoe Affair is designed to bring professional women together to network, inspire & share social experiences, and catch up with friends. Adding in the essence of shoe shopping, mini pedicures, pampering products creates a perfect blend, as we feel that as we approach summer, this would be a good way to peel away the winter blues, and gear ourselves up for fabulous summer feet. We hope that the various advice and tips from the companies taking part will equip you, our guest with an insight into what summer 2008 has in store for us!! As part of the Shoe Affair Event, we will be running a Mini Market alongside the event, where exhibitors will have an opportunity to showcase and sell their products and in particular their summer specials and this is an early opportunity for you to browse and shop for what the various companies have in store for summer. What’s in Store? Guest Speakers Mini Market – Shoes, Bags, Nail Care Products, Pampering Products, Jewellery, and T-shirts Browse, Shop and exchange details. The Business Pit Stop – A meeting point for anyone in business to network and exchange business details. Luxury Pamper Hamper Raffle - all ticket proceeds will be donated to the Matthew Rusike Children’s Home in Harare, Zimbabwe. www.friendsofmatthewrusike.org. The orphanage is working on several projects, and one of the projects that needs a lot of assistance is the Crèche facility that currently houses 60 children of various ages. The crèche is now a severe safety hazard as most of the equipment is in a very poor condition and not fit for the children to use. We hope that our donations will contribute to a safer and more comfortable environment for these young children to play and develop in.
