Being the first of its kind in the whole of Europe, the AMA Organisation and its partners are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a memorable and historic event, as we celebrate and recognise our achievers in the field of African music. The awards are decided by independent panels consisting of some of the music industry’s most distinguished practitioners. This is in five categories, with eight additional awards decided by the general public. We have a host of high profile presenters and comedians guiding you through the night. Music Moguls, Film Legends, Fashion gurus, and Football stars, will all participate in the event's presentations, making it truly the most glamorous African event in the UK for the year 2008.
