The PRECIOUS Awards, launched in 2006, celebrate the achievements of inspirational entrepreneurial women of colour who are running businesses in the UK. Social, online and young entrepreneurs are amongst those set to be honoured. Corporate and community individuals are also celebrated with the PRECIOUS Leadership within the Workplace Award. Foluke Akinlose MBE, founder of The Precious Awards said: “We're proud to applaud and highlight enterprise and innovation amongst some of the brightest stars contributing to UK plc. Case studies have shown that being a finalist in the PRECIOUS awards can lead to some exciting developments for finalists and winners alike.” Headline sponsors of this year's awards are The British Library.
