The Precious Awards 2009: Nominations now open

The PRECIOUS Awards, (www.preciousawards.com) the annual awards ceremony for inspirational and entrepreneurial women of colour, is now accepting nominations for the 2009 awards.





The PRECIOUS Awards, sponsored by Pearson plc, celebrate the achievements of women of colour in business and leadership. The Awards are also designed to encourage and inspire other women to launch their own business. Nominations are open now until the end of August.

The Awards will be held on Monday 16th November, kicking off Global Entrepreneurship Week. Ethical, Online and Young Entrepreneurs are amongst those set to be honoured.

Judges for the Awards include Joy Nichol, director and chief executive of CMB2 Group, one of the UK’s leading Black female entrepreneurs, and Sandra Kerr, National Director of Race for Opportunity.

Rasheed Ogunlaru, one of the UK’s leading business coaches, will present the event alongside, Jessica Huie, CEO of Colorblind Cards.
