IRAQI EXPATRIATE INVESTORS AND BRITISH COMPANIES DELEGATION HEADS FOR BAGHDAD BUSINESS TALKS May 22-25

Delegation led by Iraqi Business & Investment Club director Mr. Saad Al-Saraf, are visiting Baghdad for business meetings with senior government staff and ministries officials to declare their active involvement in the reconstruction efforts in Iraq.

A high level Iraqi investors and UK business delegation from London, is heading to Baghdad for a three days visit to Baghdad aimed at further strengthening the investment and reconstruction efforts in Iraq.

"We are honoured to work with the Iraqi government to host the largest Iraqi Investors and UK business delegation which will have the opportunity to discuss and enter into dialogue with government departments about our support and involvement in the reconstruction efforts in Iraq.
This visit organized by Iraqi Business and Investment Club (IBIC) and supported by the Iraqi Government and Parliament serves to underline our continued commitment to investment and the rebuilding process in Iraq.

The three-day event will culminate on May 24, 25 with a one-on-one meetings between the participating investors, companies representatives and prospective Iraqi government officials. The high interest shown among UK firms reflects the increased importance of Iraq as a growing economic player with hundreds of Billions to spend on reconstruction projects in the midst a global and regional economic slowdown.

The event, to be held at the Al-Rasheed Hotel in Baghdad, will include companies representing a diverse range of business sectors, including construction & building materials; energy; transportation; electricity; electricity, water; finance; telecommunications, among others.
