Images Video Audio
As part of Lewisham Council's Black History Month celebration Roopa Farooki will be introducing her new novel, The Way Things Look To Me.
This event, the first of Lewisham's Black History Month calendar, will be taking place on the evening of Tuesday 29 September when author Roopa Farooki will be introducing her new novel, The Way Things Look To Me, at Sydenham Library.

The novel places an autistic teenager with high-performing Aspergers at the middle of a moving story about how her siblings cope with not being the centre of attention.

This free event is organised by Lewisham Council in association with Pan MacMillan publishing. It is aimed at people aged 16 and over and signed copies of Roopa Farooki's novel will be available on the night.
