Stunning Channel 5 TV Presenter Returns to Host The Edinburgh Mela

Images Video Audio
Following on from her success as compère at the 2004 Edinburgh Mela, TV presenter Tasmin Lucia Khan has confirmed her return to this year’s multi-cultural festival. The beautiful presenter and producer has a wealth of broadcasting experience ranging from British terrestrial Channel Five to Sky TV and many other channels across the world.
You can catch her on Channel Five hosting the boxing show “Now is the Time, Night of Combat” on Friday nights. In addition to her broadcasting background Tasmin has also carved a career out of modelling for a wide range of advertising and endorsement contracts throughout Europe.

Tasmin’s presenting career began in 1999 with the world’s largest Asian Entertainment Television Network, Zee TV. To date she has presented over 300 TV programmes in over 40 countries worldwide and is currently fronting the ‘The Big Gig’ on Zee Music.

Thrilled to be back in the Capital to compère this year’s Mela, Tasmin commented:

“Being asked to come back and compère for the Edinburgh Mela is very exciting as Edinburgh is a really vibrant city. This year’s line up of acts for the Mela is an awesome mix of cultural styles, and I am really looking forward to partying with many Scottish Mela visitors as everyone is so friendly, and I’m itching to try on a kilt!”

Mrs Unis, Edinburgh Mela co-founder and Board Director, pleased to have such a talented and glamorous compère at this year’s Mela, said:

“I‘m confident that Tasmin will once again bring her expertise to the Mela and add to the success of what is going to be an eventful weekend.”
