Bollywood Dance Championship Finals Take Place at Hackney Empire

THE WORLD OF BOLLYWOOD GLITZ AND GLAMOUR BECKONS AS DANCING QUEENS AND KINGS DUST OFF THEIR SHOES TO SPARKLE IN CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS

The time has arrived! The hottest dance acts for the fabulous UK Bollywood Dance Championships have been announced. Diva Entertainments and Club Asia Radio, in association with Honey Kalaria, Bollywood Ambassador to the UK and a host of high profile celebrity judges have been touring the country in the search of the best Bollywood Dancing Divas and Heroes. As they dust off their dancing shoes and fix their bindis and bandanas into place, finalists from all over the UK will now be whisked to the star studded stage of the impressive Hackney Empire, London at 7pm on Tuesday 8th July to perform some show stopping numbers. Behind the curtains awaits the alluring dream of being flown to India to meet famous Bollywood stars at film studios in Mumbai, as well as an exclusive modelling contract and extensive training at nationally renowned Honeys Dance Academy to complete their skills as a professional dancer.

*East London Finalists in the 4-12years Solo Group include Rahul Velani from Gants Hill; Shania Biju from Barkingside and Sunny Patel from Stratford with Shrina Saujani from Ilford, Essex in the Adult Solo. In the 4-12 years Junior Group Diva Stars from East London; Mama’s Little Princesses from Manor Park, London and The Six Rocking Stars from Ilford have all qualified. The 13 year and over Senior Group sees Chaos from Ilford and Asian Glitz from Hackney shortlisted.

**The only West London Finalists to make it through to the Senior Solo Group is Geetika Sharma from Hounslow with The Angels from Heston in the 4-12 years Junior Group.

***The only North London Finalists to make it through to the Junior Solo Group has been announced as Karishma Raichada from North Wembley with finalists in the Senior Solo group including Deena Vaid from Edgeware, Middlesex; Ashmi Parekh from Harrow, Middlesex and Lopa Kunvardia from Kingsbury, London. Chandni and Asha from Stanmore, Middlesex in 13 years and over Senior Group have made it through to the Finals.

****Leicester Superstar Finalist Shiv Makadia from Hamilton has not only got through in the Junior Solo Group but also joins his friend Rushil Ondhia in the 4-12 years Junior Group to compete for the coveted title.

*****South London Finalists have done well in the 13years and over Senior Group with The Rajani Sisters from Catford; Reflections from Surrey, Ewell and Puja and Khushal from Mitcham, Surrey all getting through.

The contestants will have to work very hard to impress the panel of expert judges who also include the legendary Bollywood Dancing Queen of the UK -Honey Kalaria. She says:

It is inspiring for me to see these artists blossom on stage and with the support of everyone I am positive that they will go on to delight audiences all over the UK. They have all worked extremely hard over the last few months to get this far and the audience at Hackney Empire will have a brilliant evening of entertainment ahead of them- for all the family to enjoy.”
